Short Term Mission Trip to Emmanuel's Kids

Mission Purpose & The Impact on the Community

1. Local Community Outreach

Our mission team is committed to bringing hope and transformation to the communities surrounding Emmanuel’s Kids through hands-on outreach, spiritual care, and acts of love. Throughout the trip:

  • We will engage with neighborhoods in Mufulira through door-to-door evangelism, prayer walks, and food distribution for struggling families.

  • Our team will model the love of Christ by meeting practical and spiritual needs, listening to personal stories, and offering encouragement through one-on-one prayer and support.

  • All efforts are done in collaboration with local believers to ensure long-term follow-up and care.

2. Partnership with Local Churches

To reinforce the unity of the Body of Christ and empower the local church:

  • We will serve alongside Zambian pastors and leaders, joining them in existing ministries and building relationships that continue beyond our visit.

  • Some evening worship services will be hosted at local churches or shared community venues.

  • Mission teams will celebrate local church leaders by sharing a time of food and fellowship with them at Emmanuel’s Kids, fostering connection and appreciation through hospitality.

3. Community Crusades & Evangelism

The heart of this mission is outreach and salvation:

  • A large crusade event will be held during the trip—either on-campus at Emmanuel’s Kids or at an off-campus location—to reach hundreds with the gospel.

  • The crusade will include live worship, skits, testimonies, and a salvation message, inviting the local population to respond to Jesus.

4. Cultural Reflection & Safari Experience

To conclude the trip, team members will participate in a safari experience. This serves several purposes:

  • It offers time for personal reflection on the spiritual and emotional impact of the week.

  • It provides rest and renewal for the team before returning home.

  • It gives the team a taste of Zambia’s natural beauty, deepening appreciation for God’s creation and the nation they served.

Closing Vision

This trip is more than a short-term mission—it’s the beginning of lasting impact in lives and communities. Through partnerships, outreach, and shared experiences, our prayer is that lives are changed both in Zambia and among those who serve, and that the love of Christ leaves a legacy in every community we touch.
